When I imagine a loving relationship with father and son I picture the normal things; rugby, cricket, learning to put a nail into a piece of wood, going for ice-cream and I also imagine play. I recently saw a young father lift up his son with simple joy. This led me to think about and imagine Jesus and Joseph today. With prayer I imagined their relationship today.
Fathers can teach their children to fly in many ways. Joseph certainly would have helped Jesus to have loving confidence, to trust, to pray, to take a leap of faith. This piece is a timely reminder that God gives us all wings and wants us to fly with joy.May we all remember that God gifts us wings to fly today...
