Feed My Sheep

In just six weeks, I am due to finish my counselling degree—hurray! This journey has been a long and sacred one for the past four years. I am deeply grateful for the support along the way, especially the Sisters of Saint Joseph, and all who encouraged me to follow my calling. And of course, I am also deeply grateful for the incredible team at my university and at placement (Saint Mary's College, Auckland).
Throughout this year, hearing struggles, joys, and everything in between have also consistently revealed the importance of hope. And lately, I have been reflecting on how I can be an agent of hope and walk with small acts of love, as resistance to hate, comparison, and judgment.
For example, the war in Palestine is heartbreaking, so I hope this new artwork communicates an act of resistance to this. I hope this inspires you to pray for peace, to act with loving resistance in your own way... and to follow the ultimate call that Jesus proclaimed to Peter: 'Feed my sheep' (John 21:15-17).
As an update, regarding my next steps... I am currently in the process of confirming a part-time counselling role. I will also begin taking on freelance graphic design and illustration projects in November.
I would absolutely love to hear about any design projects you may need for your school or organisation... what does your community need from a freelance graphic designer and illustrator? How can I help? (Get in touch)
I am based in Auckland but have worked on many projects internationally, so there are no limits! I would also be very grateful if you could please forward this page to anyone you know who might need some design help. Together we can 'feed my sheep'...
