Finding God's Traces - Jesuit Communications AU
Jesuit Communications recently approached me about creating some custom illustrations and designing an updated layout for a wonderful book called Finding God's Traces. This book has successfully been in print for many years, with reflections and readings for every day of the year. Essentially, the aim of the project was to give new life to the book.
The brief included several elements:
- Creating 12 illustrations of selected people
- Creating a page layout template for the book
- Creating a unique illustration style in one colour to also work within budget
- Incorporating text and illustration elements
- Fitting a particular size
Finding God’s Traces features:
- Readings for each day of the year
- Thoughts and reflections
- Words of celebrated thinkers
- 12 illustrations depicting a Saint or Blessed matched with an inspiring quote
- A comprehensive index
- 25-year calendar of moveable feast days
It was an absolute pleasure to create and illustrate this project. The book will be printed in September 2023, and you are welcome to order your individual copy and/or see custom options for schools and organisations HERE.
