Wood Artworks

Wood is one of my favourite things to draw on; the smell, the texture, the unique grain.  Each piece of wood is like a gift, and each grain is unique - a wonderful challenge for any artist.  I've been very fortunate to be able to up-cycle some random pieces of wood. I enjoy the fact that you cannot trace onto wood; it makes you trust yourself. Some progress and final images are shown below. I'm always on the look out for the next piece and hope to keep adding to this collection.
