I believe that when we can re-imagine figures from the past in a modern context and in different cultures they become more relatable, relevant and real. These images have been created by experimenting with illustrating Gospel scenes and people in modern contexts. St Joseph and Our Lady are two figures in particular that I find myself relating to and re-imagining.
