The trinity seems to me to be like a dance, full of colour and light. This light encompasses and surrounds us. It knows no distinctions or barriers. Colours of the full rainbow are shown to highlight this all inclusive love.
When we listen to the movement of the spirit in our lives we join in the dance. We are able to flow in a sense, moving with God, experiencing new life through this light of Christ. While I attempt to grasp some sort of speck of understanding around the trinity it seems to me that relationship is key; Christ desires one thing only - to be in relationship with us.
Will you join in the dance?
As the poet Hafiz reminds us:
Every child has known God,
Not the God of names,
Not the God of don'ts,
Not the God who ever does
But the God who knows only 4 words
And keeps repeating them, saying:
"Come Dance with Me."

The body is one, even though it has many parts; all the parts — many though they are — comprise a single body. And so it is with Christ. It was by one Spirit that all of us, whether we are Jews or Greeks, slaves or citizens, were baptised into one body. All of us have been given to drink of the one Spirit. And that Body is not one part; it is many.
If one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honoured, all the members share its joy. You, then, are the body of Christ, and each of you is a member of it.
1 Corinthians 12:12-14, 26-27
